Wild Woman Birthkeepers is a sisterhood.

We are Nadia & Noli, two radical birthkeepers building authentic sisterhood and body sovereignty in the Boston Area.

We serve our community through

women’s circles

homebirth support

and body literacy classes.

What is a radical birthkeeper?

Birthkeeper - a term coined by ancestor midwife Jeannine Parvati Baker. She merged the terms Earth Keeper and Birth Worker, and this grounded new title was adopted by a recent wave of traditional birth attendants.

Radical - relating to the fundamental nature of something; from the root.

A radical birthkeeper walks with women through both portals, from life to death. She may attend rites of passage, including birth, menarche, menopause, and death. She holds space with wide, warm arms. She listens to women cry, exalt, snarl. She cultivates her own to connection to earth - and by earth we mean womb, body, blood, flesh, soil, plant, bacteria, beast - so that she can be a grounding force for women as they fly high in the spirit world. Radical birthkeepers are wise - they listen, study and teach - but most importantly they know

we can trust our bodies.
